Norwegian-produced well-aged, firm yellow cheese made from pasteurized whole cow's milk from selected farms in Valdres. Matured as cheese wheels on wooden shelves for at least 8 months. The Christmas cheese is a fatty yellow cheese with a rich, round taste. It has a lovely blend of salty, sweet, and nutty notes with a mild freshness of milk. Perfect for Christmas breakfast and lunch, or as a hostess gift. It's well-suited for bread slices and cheese sandwiches, great on a cheese platter, with tapas, on pizza and burgers, in omelets, or sprinkled over pasta.
