Bukono is a Norwegian hard cheese flavored with fenugreek from Valdresmeieriet, made with pasteurized cow’s milk. This cheese is perfect for sandwiches and toast, and can also be cut into cubes for a tasty snack. It melts beautifully in omelets or on pizza, and is excellent for tapas.

Bukono is a rich yellow cheese with a full-bodied flavor reminiscent of nuts and maple syrup. It is handcrafted from whole milk sourced from selected farms in the Valdres region.

Bukono has been awarded Bronze at the World Cheese Awards in 2018 and 2022, and Silver in 2023.
