Ingredients
- 2 pcs Dovre Norwegian Camembert
- 4 pcs small ready-made pizza bases
- 2 jars pesto
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 sprigs rosemary or thyme
Follow these steps
- Heat your oven to 180°C (356°F). (Note: You can substitute Camembert with Dovre Norwegian Brie if preferred.)
- Lay a pre-made pizza dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Center the Camembert on the dough, then generously apply pesto around the cheese on the dough. Suggestion: Try crafting your pesto with fresh parsley for an added touch.
- Slice a cross in the middle of the second pizza dough. Place it atop the first dough with Camembert, folding the edges down around the cheese.
- Slice the dough surrounding the cheese into strips and twist each a few times. Slice the garlic and embed these slices into the cheese along with sprigs of rosemary, creating a checkered pattern.
- Pour a good amount of olive oil over it and bake for around 30 minutes, or until the cheese softens and the crust turns golden.
- Present the heated Camembert and herb-infused bread on a sizable serving board or dish, offering both a visual and gustatory treat.
